For various reasons of diagnosis or research, doctors or lab technicians have for some years used a device called an “Electroencephalograph”, which measures electrical voltages in the brain and graphs them on a long sheet of paper. (Electro=”electric,” encephalo=”brain,” and graph=”mark on paper.”)

The resulting marks on the long sheet of paper are called an “electroencephalogram,” which is therefore a fancy name for “a piece of paper with marks on it from measuring electrical voltages in the brain.”

These graphed marks look like waves, and they represent electrical signals from a large number of the neurons inside the brain. So the common way people describe these signals is “brainwaves.”

::: OTHER BRAIN RESEARCH

Other machines have since been developed that scientists and researchers can use to measure the brain’s activity in other ways, such as measuring the magnetic fields of the brain, or using near-infrared signals to measure blood flow inside the brain, and even using radioactive materials whose emission of particles can be used to create a map of the brain.

But what we’re interested in does not involve this complex technology. Neither the exact map of the brain, nor the blood flow here or there is needed for our discussion.

Instead, we’re interested in the “brainwaves,” because it has become clear that the brainwaves in your head have a lot to do with how you feel, and how you perform.

::: WHAT DOES THIS MATTER TO ME?

At any moment, your inner reality — including whether you are happy or sad, tense or calm, scattered or focussed, alert or sleepy — may be either creating a particular type of brainwave, or your mood may be the result of the current brainwaves operating inside your head.

So it matters a lot to you.

::: WHAT CAN YOU DO WITH BRAINWAVE PATTERNS?

Using simple techniques now available, you can:

Learn to control your brainwaves, and directly change your internal state;

Use a surprisingly easy method of resetting your brainwaves to any desired state, without spending the years of a Tibetan Monk to do so;

By the regular use of this process, over time the practice clears out the accumulated “garbage” in our thoughts — old hurts and disappointments, old angers, old confusions and upsets — all gone;

By the easy induction of one particular brainwave pattern, you can begin feeling calm and relaxed, when before you were tense;

Using another brainwave pattern, you can experience “superlearning,” where your ability to absorb and retain new material is tremendously increased;

Another brainwave pattern wakes you up and give you expanded alertness, without the dragged-out feeling of too-much coffee;

The use of brainwave patterns can be combined, if you wish, with techniques from the study of hypnosis and NLP (“NeuroLinguistic Programming”), so that you can learn to reprogram your own mind, and this can be anything from getting rid of a fear of spiders or high places, to quitting smoking or losing weight, or gaining confidence for speaking in public before large crowds; and

For people who are interested in such things, certain other brainwave patterns are often associated with spiritual experiences, mystical out-of-the-body experiences, and sudden enlightenment.

::: WHERE DOES IT ALL END?

Can brainwaves make the coffee and walk the dog? No, but making coffee is part of the coffee experience, and you wouldn’t want to miss out on walking with your dog, anyway.

However, you now have access to a wonderful method to empower and enhance your life, without spending the years of a Tibetan Monk to do so. Lightning Labs, in conjunction with Time Technology, has created a new system that makes this very easy to do.

EFT: How To Find Core Issues

Many people using Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) worry that they don’t know or cannot *find* the reason behind a particular problem. So they usually start guessing. Why can’t I lose weight? “Maybe it’s my hormones . . . my genes . . . or a slow metabolism . . . or maybe there’s a deeper issue, but I don’t know what it is.”

Chasing After Stories

These are really just the stories we tell ourselves. And we, as human beings, are infinitely capable of changing our stories. So don’t worry about wracking your brain to come up with the reasons for your symptoms or the problem you are struggling with.

Why?

Core issues ARISE through the use of EFT. You can start tapping on whatever issue or problem you are facing.

“Even though I can’t lose weight . . .”
“Even though I can’t sleep . . . ”

Just start with wherever you are, and whatever you know. And don’t worry about repeating yourself. Remember, in the EFT manual, the reminder phrase is simple and repetitive.

Repetition is Powerful

As you tap, core issues can ARISE — just tune in and listen for what issues come up while you are tapping. Don’t try to force it. Accept whatever comes. You will often be surprised. If nothing happens, try a different angle.

But I can’t tell you the number of times that I have started off thinking I didn’t have much to work with and no idea where I would end up. Have it be OK not to know how it will turn out.

Just be curious, be open, and don’t be attached to getting a particular result. Happy tapping!

A fulfilling and abundant life – these are the greatest things we desire for ourselves and those we love. The secret to attracting abundance with EFT is taking initiative and allowing the Law of Attraction to work for you. This EFT abundance solution contains the secret.

Firstly, what is the EFT tapping technique?

The Emotional Freedom Techniques, or EFT, consists of tapping on particular points on your face and upper body to release negative feelings. These are the bad feelings–like anger, fear, anxiety, sadness, among others–that stop you from reaching your goals.

Lots of people dub EFT as a modern miracle, due to the fact that outcomes can be practically instantaneous. It’s easy to learn, and just about everyone can learn how to do the steps. And as soon as you grasp just how the process works, producing results with the EFT abundance formula usually just takes about 15 minutes each day.

The EFT Abundance Solution

1. Consider what you really want in life. Think about this: “If there were no restrictions of money, time, or geographical location, where would you want to be, how would you spend your time, and what things would you have in your life?” And then consider …

Emotion Follows Perception

Aaron Beck, one of the founding fathers of cognitive behavioral therapy, said “emotion follows perception” meaning that the way we feel about a situation is a result of the way we perceive it. In this article we will be considering how, with EFT, the “emotion follows perception” idea is really a two-way street and thus we also see the reverse, namely, that “perception follows emotion.”

We can all perceive a situation one way and find ourselves in the grip of strong emotions that then change as soon as we get more information and a fresh perception. Yesterday I saw a couple of teenagers nosing around and under my car, and I felt a surge of anger tinged with fear.

My car had once been vandalized and now here were the culprits right in front of my house. I ran over and as I was about to shout, one of the boys looked up at me and pointing said: “Our kitten, she ran away.”

Cowering under the car was a smoky grey ball of fluff.

We all have stress, it’s part of being human. But it’s what we do with the stress that matter most.

When our lives are out of balance, when we get overwhelmed, when someone starts an argument with us, when we get stuck in traffic on the way to an important meeting or when we lose something of value to us-a job, a person, our health, it is usually accompanied by anxiety or depression.

There really is no escaping stress. We may learn to “deal” with the stress in a variety of ways, many of them unhealthy, by displacing the stressful emotions with temporary “feel good” distractions such as drinking, watching TV, eating, smoking, shopping, etc…

Quick Fix?
